In 2022 Animation Magazine celebrated 35 years, so I sat down with Jean Thoren, a serial encourager, to talk about her's, and the magazine's journey.
Jean and Animation Magazine have seen so much change in the industry over the past 35 years, and we chat about how it all got started when Pixar was emerging, Disney was changing, and the evolution of animation from being pigeonholed for kids to having the wider audience it has today.
Jean and Animation Magazine also put on the Animation Summit in LA each November which we also chatted about.
